The M.Zuiko Digital ED 20mm F1.4 PRO Lens from OM

SYSTEM features an 11-element, 10-group lens system that includes Super ED lenses, ED lenses, Super HR lenses, and aspherical lenses that are effectively placed for edge-to-edge sharpness. This high-resolution lens maximises camera performance, including the exceptional image quality obtained when shooting in High Res Shot mode. To eliminate ghosts and flare, ZERO coating is utilised in conjunction with effective suppression of internal reflections within the lens barrel.

Feathered bokeh

The OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 20mm F1.4 PRO Lens implements feathered bokeh, which gradually transfers blur from the in-focus area to the out-of-focus zone, using the know-how obtained in the creation of the M.Zuiko PRO F1.2 series, which produces ultimate defocusing effects. This OM SYSTEM lens can achieve greater resolution and exquisite bokeh effects by using an aberration measurement tool to measure bokeh at the aberration level and deliver excellent control over spherical aberration.

Compact, lightweight design with a maximum aperture of F1.4

With a wide maximum aperture of F1.4, the OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 20mm F1.4 PRO Lens features a compact and lightweight design at 247 grammes. When coupled with the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III, the system is lightweight and compact at roughly 661 grammes, allowing for quick shooting.

Highly reliable dustproof, splashproof and freezeproof construction (-10°C)

The M.Zuiko Digital ED 20mm F1.4 PRO Lens is completely sealed and boasts IPX1 equivalent splashproof performance. It also has a dustproof and freezeproof structure to -10°C, and when combined with a dustproof, splashproof, and freezeproof camera body, it allows you to shoot in harsh circumstances like rain and snow with confidence. The fluorine coating on the front-most lens allows water droplets to roll off and dust to be easily removed.

High-speed, high-precision AF

Excellent optical design and lens processing technologies are employed to create a lighter and more precise autofocus, allowing users to enjoy stress-free, high-speed, high-precision AF shooting.

Close-up shooting to make the most of feathered bokeh

With a minimum focusing distance of 25 cm and a maximum image magnification of 0.22x for shooting up close to the subject, this lens is built for exceptional close-up shooting performance. The exquisite, feathery bokeh gradually introduces blur for imaginative macro photography.

An angle of view that balances natural perspective with bokeh effects

The 40mm equivalent angle of view is slightly wider than conventional lenses, resulting in a realistic feeling of perspective and bokeh effects. This unusual point of view is ideal for a wide range of scenes, including landscapes, portraits, and snapshots.
