The Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L Lens provides both tilt and shift movements relative to the film plane (or CCD). The Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L is ideal for all kinds of scientific, architectural, creative and advertising photography.

The Tilt movement alters the angle of the plane of focus between the lens and film plane, and shift movements move the lens' optical axis in parallel. With a  lens the Tilt movement makes it possible to achieve incredible focus and defocus effects independent of aperture setting and Shift movement allows you to correct the perspective of images otherwise distorted by the position of the photographer relative to the subject.

Although manual focusing is required, automatic aperture control enables autoexposure and autoexposure bracketing. The tilt and shift axes intersect at a 90° angle. They can be made parallel at an authorized Service Facility (modified at owners expense).
