Panasonic G Series
The Panasonic G Series is changing photography by transforming what a camera does. It has eliminated the mirror box typical of DSLR cameras, allowing Panasonic to reduce size and weight while adding even more technology, including Live View Finder, Full-HD video recording and iA (Intelligent Auto).
The Panasonic G Series is a range of cameras that produce DSLR quality results but are more compact and easier to use.
Outstanding images are guaranteed with the Panasonic DMC series mirrorless interchangeable lens compact system cameras based on the Micro Four Thirds format, whether you use the iA settings for professional results or opt for manual to unleash your creative side.
When developing the Lumix G series Micro Four Thirds cameras, Panasonic managed to get a sweet balance between camera size while keeping flexibility with good quality. The world’s smallest and lightest system camera now delivers both superb images and super-easy operation.
Panasonic Digital Compact System Cameras are famous for their high-quality lenses, advanced imaging engines and shoot-assist functions like iA (Intelligent Auto). The line-up also features cameras with built-in Wi-Fi allowing them to work with smartphones to remotely shoot images, view them and then share to social networks.
The Panasonic Lumix G digital cameras are the perfect choice for those wanting to capture a moment in perfect clarity.
The Micro Four Thirds system (MFT) is a standard created by Olympus and Panasonic DMC, for mirrorless interchangeable lens digital cameras and camcorders design and development.
Unlike Four Thirds, the MFT system design specification does not provide space for a mirror box and a pentaprism, allowing smaller bodies to be designed, and a shorter flange focal distance and hence smaller lenses to be designed.
Virtually any lens can be used on MFT camera bodies, as long as an adapter exists. For instance, Four Third lenses can be used with auto focus using the adapters designed by Olympus and Panasonic.
